Maritimes conditions

Garde Côtière Canada Coast Gards gives you all the maritimes notices (Notmar: maritimes notices). It contains all the notices about marine maps, navigation lights, buoys and signals, etc...Very usefull!   NOAA gives the temperatures of the US coastal cities. You only have to select the city the most nearer of your dive site. Usefull if you dive in sea water...the water temperature is colder than you might think.   NOAA-CO-OPS NOAA US Hydrographic Services gives you the tidal prediction and water currents all over the world   Pêches et Océans Canada Fisheries and Oceans Peches and Oceans Canada gives the water temperature in the St.Lawrence estuary (some stations measure water temperature at 1m and 12m or 30m deep and some only at 1m deep). You only have to select the station nearest from of your dive site. Usefull if you dive in sea water...the water temperature is colder than you might think. Always be carefull about hypothermia.   Service des glaces Canada Ice Services gives the state of the ice covering over the water areas. Usefull if you are planning a dive under the ice or on a site where the ice sheet can move.   Service hydrographique Canada Hydrographic Services gives the monthly variation of the water level of the Great Lakes and St.Lawrence River (if you search enough you will find the hourly water level variations).   SHOM the Service Hydrographique et Océanographique de la Marine (French Marine) gives you the tidal prediction all over the world   Tidelines Online grphics tide lines   Tsunami Warning Centers Tsunami Information warning center   UKHO UK Hydrographic Services publish the lights and fog signals of all over the world   UKSO UK Hydrographic Services gives you the tidal prediction all over the world

Great Lakes Information Network gives a lot of ecological informations (wildlife, water level, pollution), cartographics (satellite images, maps) and touristics

Weather conditions

BureauMétéo Canada contains all the weather forecasts by regions and by cities. You will find all the bulletins as well as the radar photos for the current weather conditions. You will find also the maritimes forecasts (quite usefull if you go at sea, on the St.Lawrence River or the Great Lakes)   Environnement Canada gives you all the weather forecasts by regions and cities. However you will not find any maritimes weather forecast (Canada).   NOAA-NHC the National Hurricane Center gives all the predictions about hurricanes all over the world   Surf conditions gives an overall view of the intensity of waves near the shore in relation to meteorological marine conditions (some calculus may be necessary according to the dive location)   The Weather Network gives the informations about Canada as well as worldwide
